If the NFP confirms this number on Friday, the obvious conclusion is that Yellen will seek to raise rates. This is hugely bullish for the USD, particularly the USDJPY.

This won't be super bullish for USD, but will certainly be bearish for non-usd currencies as they remain the curve in terms of even talking about raising rates.

Something is fishy. We are going to arrive at "full employment" while GDP enters negative territory. It's obvious that employment stats (or at least the ones that grab headlines) are outdated, inaccurate, and irrelevant.

The USD was under pressure there for a minute, but its hard to imagine people saying this NFP # is going to drive them to EUR or GBP. I believe this will result in USD strength because USD is still closer to interest rate hikes than anyone else.

Normally yes. But every CPI number has been so tiny and moving by such tiny increments; unless it changes significantly, it hardly makes a difference. While the retail sales really shows the health of the economy.
