The near-term advance in AUD/JPY appears to be getting exhausted, with the pair at risk of resuming the downward trend carried over from late-2014 as it appears to have made another failed attempt .

I do not see this happening in short term honestly. In fact my take in next couple weeks is a very strong Ms Yen. We could soon witness AUD / JPY going below 77.65 mark.

I agree. However, I would be careful since I think the market has already factored in a large part of this effect from the high of 1.3705 today. Some more strengthening of USD can be certainly expected though.
