Did you also try one-touch, no-touch or digital options? the minimum needed to open an account with refco is $300. No-touch is quite handy when there's no big data

Of course, this is an example where it doesn't work. But on lots of other occasions, it does work. Which is normal if you want to place an entry right before the announcement of an important news coming out, because the market is spiking like hell.
