I dunno, I haven't watched BTC charts in years. If I were to guess though, the same people who use low liquidity times as an excuse to do big stop hunts (IE daily/weekly opens and bank holidays) aren't really involved in BTC.

What does it take to make FX trading a 24/7 endeavor?

My initial thought was yesyes, but on second thought the weekend spreads would probably be pretty fat, and the lower liquidity would probably result in a higher frequency of random 100 pip spikes

Perhaps it's a coping mechanism to simply avoid admitting that they failed at trading
