I tried hotforex this year, and made a deposit over 1k$ with moneybookers, and then a withdraw of the same amount also with moneybookers. It is not instant, but it went without hassle.

Brokers with 1000 leverage are just not registered in the west... ie american or english brokers needs to follow the 100 leverage max rules and some even FIFO rule.

Yeah but then you should trade during high liquidity periods, for example when stock exchanges are open around the world are open. During the asian session, spread on GBP or USD could be wider than usually.
