Steve Gill replied Aug 12, 2016After a boring morning, nice to see EU playing out as I blogged here. 1.1300+ on the cards, probably next week though. Only thing that will change my mind is this hourly bar currently forming - if it reverses the gains just seen.

Steve Gill replied Aug 11, 2016Nice job on catching both sell and buy today on EU Malc, and posting here in advance. Please tell me you didn't short the US afternoon session otherwise I'll think you're superhuman

But seriously, NFP should give us direction. I agree with Hawkins, I prefer to use VSA on high vol bars and trade the slow news days. For some people thats not immediate enough, but it works well for me.vsa with Malcolm

TEB - while I'm here, do you remember Wayne's thread - and Wayne's turtles? I lost a lot of money on that, as did many others I believe. I learnt a lot from it, including trust nobody lol. However it hasn't ...vsa with Malcolm

Steve Gill replied Aug 5, 2016Calm down lads
I only said I wanted to persuade Malc to write a book - even if it was just pub stories about trading I'd buy it. Not sure about anyone else, but when you get me talking about trading over a beer you can't shut me up so I love ...vsa with Malcolm

Steve Gill replied Aug 4, 2016I agreed with Malc and Dr G that daily blog articles will always remain free - its a blog after all, thats the point. However I have been trying to persuade Malc to write an ebook about his trading experiences, as I know this thread saved me from ...

Steve Gill replied Jul 26, 2016This happens from time to time TEB. I've been here since 2009 on and off, and there are others still around but not posting that have been for longer. Its like that film "The Firm" - once you start on Malc's thread you can go quiet for a while, but ...

Steve Gill replied Jul 23, 2016I don't full agree with this Teb. Everyone is different - some people pick up things quickly, others take longer to take in the information available on places like this (I was one of them) and yet others find it much better to have someone talk ...

Steve Gill replied Jul 23, 2016You need some mentoring perhaps (unfortunately I can't help right now, as I'm super busy getting married!). Did you follow Jason (pres78) and his posts? Other than Malc, Jason was the best person I know for describing exact setups extremely well. ...

Steve Gill replied Jul 23, 2016Please trust me from 7 years experience of VSA - don't trade the 1 minute chart, unless you have lots of experience (and even then its super risky, and I'd mostly only look at things like ES). I'd recommend starting with the 1 hour chart to be ...

TEB - question on the 3 minute chart. Why do you mark that one as a gotcha bar? For me, a gotcha bar is a widespread (often down) bar that locks the herd into weak ...vsa with Malcolm
