For some of you guys that are trading this method successfully, I'd love to hear how much time you spend in front of the computer trading... or how you schedule your trading day... Just trying to judge if it is feasible for me. Thanks in advance for ...

Dimdel, Thanks for sharing your idea. CHF-JPY hit the target TP yesterday. I know you don't trade that one, but just FYI. So far, all the other closed trades I placed with your system were profitable.

Raylin, Thanks for sharing your system. Seems if you are risking 50 pips to get 10 (first part of the trade), then at 80% win rate you are breaking even on that part of the trade. Are you making your profits on the second part of the trade that you ...

It surely did improve performance. I also added back the adr and news indicators too. Still not lightning fast, but fairly good. Many thanks!

Thanks for sharing your system Drewas. Used it this morning and made some good trades. It really does slow down my laptop though. I removed the news and adr indicators.. Seemed to help a little but the semaphore really slows things down. Any ideas? ...

I found part of the answer to a question I had about the probability of clearing the PTZ after 4 candles had already passed. Post 10451 by KPRSA on the sim thread: ... only 100%-60.48%=39.52% of the total number of cases have remained transient ...

Thanks Vlady for all your effort and help. I was hoping you or someone could clarify if my understanding of how the recurrent stats works is right. Right now, on the EurUsd 4h chart, I have the indy set at 6 left, 4 right, and it gives me 92% chance ...

Ok bro! Just demoing with you guys. Here are a couple from yesterday's close. ( at 0 GMT on this account). That give me a 2 hour Sunday candle... which is significant on an 8-rsi window. CAD-JPY... GBP-JPY. Both are in the money a little as of now. ...

Also, I believe the fail better thread suggests not moving the SL. As I remember, the J-16 member that taught touch trades suggested to place a small SL behind the short candle(s), and to bring the trade to BE soon after it bounces.

Here is an example from the GU trade. The green arrows indicate the smaller candles that approached the resistance line. I put by SL behind these smaller candles. image

I don't have a system yet, since I just started experimenting with this method. I'll try to write my SL etc on my charts this week and why I placed them there, but I don't know much about writing on charts. Not sure how that will work out. SL is ...

Adam Really enjoying this method. Thanks! I'm still doing mostly the "touch" method you initially referenced instead of the second type. I did do a couple of those too though, but it seems to make the R:R much smaller. I hope the success level of ...

Re:SL and TP This one missed my TP by a couple of pips and formed a Pin/hammer. I place and/or adjust most of my orders in the evening or early morning (Central time). In this trade I moved the SL closer, and now since there is a Pinbar, I am ...

Adam, A while back I read one of the senior contributors at the J-16 thread say that if you are going to do the touch trades on a horizontal Breakout & S/R, then you could put the SL behind one of the short candles before the breakout occurred. This ...

3 Touch trades triggered last night and so far all are good. The EurCad one was an experiment with a touch trade back to the level of breaking a trendline.

ProsteJa Thanks for that explanation. Looks great... almost looks too simple to work. For some reason I thought you were doing touch trades where PA forms S/R, crosses the S/R strongly, comes back and "touches" the S/R line again where you take the ...

Well, I haven't been trading this method. I considered bringing my stop to BE plus 1 on the first trade above or getting out, as there is resistance nearby... I didn't do either partly because of some of the "fail better" thread advice I was ...
