I personally don't think there's anything wrong with taking a break. I believe it can freshen the mind to new ideas. A stressed mind does not tend to give good ideas.

I personally believe that the best way to recover a loss is to drastically diminish the average trading lot size, and until the recovery has occurred, only then to resume normal lot size.
