Seeing a bullish engulfing on a 10M chart doesn't seem like a very convincing indicator to me since the lower the timeframe the more likely candlestick patterns can be fakeouts.

It may seem that way sometimes, and this isn't exactly a 'help-the-newbies' thread but there's plenty of great information posted by great traders in this thread. You'll have to sift through lots of posts that aren't nearly as useful (like mine

Well, I think your risk/reward ratio promotes one thing. A high probability that your TP will be hit before your stop-loss is hit, especially given the state of the EZ. But it also seems risky to employ a trading strategy that involves risk/reward ...

I was mostly talking about those entries at the top of the chart. I suppose what I should really be saying is "good instinct"

Another note, if you have a set of orders which are currently being monitored, but you wish to close them manually for whatever reason, you must first stop the EA or the platform will tell you that the trade is busy.

Just wondering, what in the PA suggests a bullish move up from here? I mean, all the bullish moves in the last couple of weeks have been nothing more than corrective up until now, and weakly so. I suppose I wouldn't put it past anyone to buy euros ...

One thing I don't get is how many people think the news lately has been "priced in". Quite a bit of the news in the last couple weeks has been very out of nowhere in nature and is full of woeful tales of political turmoil and bond markets blowing ...

Yeah, 1.337x - 1.338x is my next target assuming we take these levels out. Seems possible, given the momentum yesterday established and some of the less-than-favorable news that came out late in the evening yesterday. If we hit 1.3370 my next ...

There have been some good entries in the last few days, but I generally don't like these kinds of markets. All of the pairs I watch are in pretty much the same situation. The ranging market conditions from the end of last week have continued on into ...

Also, remember, this program does not SET stop-loss levels. It functions essentially like a mental stop-loss. This is good and bad as it's still susceptible to huge spikes in price where your spreads shoot up but if you're paranoid about your broker ...

Yes, but until we convincingly break below the neckline and retest it or a lower S&R level we can't really trade it unless we're just betting on a breakout.

I think quite often, you're right. These pairs do like to move in tandem. I've noticed that extreme moves in one often correlate with moves in the other pairs that I watch like the USDCHF, USDCAD. They don't keep in lock step with one another, but ...
