Would someone that is in the know explain to me how Canada can produce steel at a price that needs a tariff. Why does it cost more in the USA to produce steel?

The USA needs trade mainly exports. As the dollar becomes less in volume the value will become greater. Trump doesn't understand much about trade. Until trade increases the dollar will sit and wait.
