From what I understand you can use use any platform as a master and then copy across platforms. I use MT5 as a master as that's where I do my analysis/charting and trade my EA's on and then copy the orders over to my futures accounts.

I'm copying from MT5 to Tradovate, with the master account being MT5 and the slave accounts Tradovate. I have my EA's running on my MT5 account and the orders get copied over to Tradovate, no issues at all.
