It was a question for all traders here. Risk:reward is nice when it works. But the reality is it often chops around so I'm faced with many small losses and it's better to use a compounding factor.

Also important is how you handle your positions. Start small so you can shoot more bullets. Reversing and increasing the size is also very important. I like for example trading the weekly GOLD candle.

It's how you handle the positions. Start small and then increase wisely. Either when reversing or when the train is going the right direction. Works for me in bigger timeframes. In that case I like for example Gold.

What more hints do you want? Use bigger timeframes and trade the direction. Advanced traders can also trade the movement back from the wick by using a daily candle within the week. Start small and increase the size if needed.

I prefer looking at the weekly candle only and then sometimes at the daily candle within that week.

Sorry, but the DOM is so f***ed up since years. Will you seriously become a scalper? Good luck. Luckily there are other signs when pairs start to trend.

Hi guys. I also struggled several years with trading. Finally this strategy is working for me, it sounds easy (lol) but it's impressive: TRADE the TREND, increase size in the trending direction only! Cut losses quickly - don't average down! Period.
