Yeah, you nailed it. They are just using this to ban people who are net positive in theri books. Their own traders are purrely gambling on live tv.

Yeah, this is not good at all. Why wouldn't they just list the exact rules you've broken instead of highliting 5 differnent things. Secondly, why would they ban account stacking if most of their revenes are coming from people who repeatedly fail and ...

I thought the futures props were hard to game already. Thay have rules already in place preventing arbitrage, tick scalping, consistency rules to prevent YOLO egen gamblers etc. Maybe its aimed at the people whoa re refusing to go to live.

Wow, 60$ for a 300k account. Have they ever done this before because it looks like something a firm would offer when they are about to rugpull.

Thanks Monty but i didnt mean intraday trailing DD. I meant having a permanent static DD like forex prop firms where if you start with 50k, and your DD is 2k, max loss limit starts and stays at 48k until you're funded or blow up.

Is there currently any futures prop without a trailing DD?

Ok. So because it doesnt allow affliaites to work with other firms means it wont survive regualtion?? He's clearly just shilling those 4 firms although regulators are definitely watching the space. We knew they were coming when we extensively ...

Having discount coupons for those 4 firms automatically makes the choices suspect. I thought if anyone would be ready for regulation of futures props, it should be topstep top of that list.

The rule says single trading day not single trade so you can easily hedge the winning trade and partailly close it over multiple days. Example, if you went long 10 lots on gold, once price reaches TP, enter 10 lots short and lock in those profits ...

Thanks for the reply. My best ever trade was a 1:25 RR sell on EURaUd using a 5 pip Sl about 2 years ago and i will never forget it. I'll look into the pivots on these pairs and test them out.

Just out of curiosity, why do you mainly trade those 2 aud pairs? Do they respect pivots more than others or is there something else unique about them?

If the props keep changing rules that reduce gamblerss and chaeters, doesnt that make their data trading flow better and easeir to deal with? Maybe they can find a way to monetise it since they would be left with the less toxic traders like you said. ...

Yeah, If the CFTC didnt shut down MFF and scare MQL to pull these props' licences, we would be having 100 new props popping up daily right now. The business was truly profitable for these "CEOs". I guess something good came out of MFF's shutdown.

I really hope one of 5ers or FTMO can survive this shaking because they've proven to be very reliable. The 5ers seems very solid considering they have other offers besides the high stakes that and their risk management is more robust.

The maths doesnt seem bad but once new registraitons reduce, which they definitely will over time either due to competition, regulation or just gamblers getting tired of failing, then the model will run it's course as well.
