They can't set a floor and hold it. Japanese exporters would always sell against it Other than Swizz there is a huge export industry that has to convert usd to yen day in and day out...and we're not talking about chumb change

I think what we are seeing with the yen is in the nature of the japanese economy. It's the exporters, who have to convert usd to yen - no matter what. They only have a small timewindow to convert and can't speculate. So they will sell into each and ...

If the market wants it at parity it will get to parity. After yesterdays low it seems inevitable to see 1.0000 No matter what SNB is doing. I will closely watch around 1.0350 today...that's where we got a 270pips breakdown yesterday
