That one bears watching, doesn't it. Shame on you for posting a daily chart in isolation. 129 is the key level now (ahead of 127)!

LOL - We will see where the fleet is at the end of the voyage. Who won that war anyway? Did anyone expect anything less than rough seas? It's a boat, not a missile! Hopefully profits were booked and readers are waiting until the PA respects a big ...

Good for you! Fundamentally, there is plenty of room to justify the upside as we have discused for so long, and the market is loaded with shorts. We have stubbed our toe here before though, but at this point, I will simply be following with trails ...

Yes, in a way it does, although this is a technical thread. I tend to drop fundamental views that can be used to underlie PA-based trading, much in the way that others will use more technical long range patterns, candles, and supports. One runs into ...

It's been very choppy, so there is room on both sides. It highlights the idea that one can make money on both sides of the market if one is disciplined. This may be a technical low achieved in thin market conditions and rejected on Frday, but ...

Only for you would I answer on Thanksgiving eve! Actually, remember that post of mine a few days ago to Strat? I mentioned that the US is walking that "printing money/ecomonic recovery line" so as to avoid stagflation. A devalued currency supports ...

I am long, as advertised. It's a matter of where one enters one's own trade that really matters, though. The better and well-justified entry I think was off the big fat line either at it or pushed into it by the resulting PA last week, bolstered by ...

Constructively (I owe you that), one practical method is to avoid the excessively volitile (E/Y) or high pip count (Chunnel) markets in favor of straight EURUSD or USDCAD. Those markets trade more technically, respecting the appropriate levels more ...

You are right - sorry - Just having a bit of fun with that one - Strat's comment is on the money I believe in that one......Chunnel bounced very smartly off of thet big fat line, so I do not understand your short in that one. E/J can be argued ...

I like that point and it is, indeed, a good debate - and perhaps a reason for the current coil. My view sees the weekly candles as bullish/consolidative. The counter view may carry the day, but perhaps both sides can grab their piece of the pie. LOL ...

Indeed, one graduates when one can handle the "what if" and survive. Our dear friend, having paid the same tuition as I, knows that odds favor this as a continuation pattern, however. Enough hypothesis for me to enter under the current economic ...

For me, the technical play is to treat that as a continuation pattern, so well coiled as to give a good R/R and a targeted exit if one enters inside the coil on appropriate PA. You knew that already though!!
