supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009im not sure if i have this indicator in the other computer... anyway, maybe u should adjust some settings first before it works. or that is a non-working/old/'bugged' version of an indicator. or u can wait for other suggestions to come here.

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009Sure no worries. sometimes mechanical rules work, sometimes a discretionary way of trading is called for. btw, it's not my idea. majority of what i know/learned came from this thread & some other threads here.

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009if i understood the above correctly, seems like a mechanical way of trading it. but it's not that easy, imo. pertinent factors to consider are still location, S/R, PPZ, PA. for example, BUOB heading into immediate resistance. using the "rule" 'If ...

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009how can u tell if a BUOB/BEOB will be a runner at the onset or if it will retrace? well, u cant 100% tell. BUT u can react accordingly or make assumptions as to what price will do or which direction it will take. knowing the price trend or the ...

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009People, just had a look at higher TF charts... if u look at H1-weekly charts, this is actually a trend trade consulting higher TFs (M30-Daily, your choice) gives u a better perspective even as u trade this small TF.

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009i think it depends more on the situation than the trader. there are instances when a BEOB/BUOB breaks & doesnt look back, hence no chance for an entry via a 50%retracement. happens too with pins, IB's (that is, price not looking back/not retracing)

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009trendlines like these on higher TF's are not just scalp trades. this H1 trendline may even produce not just 'scalp pips'.

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009looking exclusively at your chart, that H4 pin seem to be heading straight into traffic/bar highs (H4 chart) around 1.0650ish. & this H4 pin formed prior a big bull candle. furthermore, this H4 pin looks like a test of that trendline: look how it ...

supremeChaos replied Dec 17, 2009u mean the 'big' PB (the 5th candle prior the PB sir6 pointed out)? everyone trades differently, but just to point out this PB seem to have not been triggered (looking exclusively at that chart). plus, before the fact, it was near the upsloping ...

i didnt realize u were particularly referring to a 'duration' (3-4days) based on M5. correct? so i presume on M15 & up, this 'duration' shortens accordingly.Trade Using VSA (Volume Spread Analysis)
