We used a team of horses to pull that hay fork......no tractors until long after I was gone......this was upstate in the southern tier.......No tractors in the garden either, packed the soil.....Got to get started Pippo.....Another long day ...

I remember those hay rakes well....When they first came out they were pulled by a team of horses......I never got to ride one, I was always using a 3 pronged fork stacking loose hay on a wagon and hoping when the wagon hit a bump all the hay ...
