I'm amazed I even read of such incidents occurring....I wonder what people think (or IF they stop 1 nanosecond to even worry about it) when they pull stunts like that.... very unfortunate...but I can't blame you for your reaction to it...

well...if price moves 500 pips or more beyond then I wouldn't be worrying about the AH trade anymore as obviously we would be trading in a different market situation....

ah is triggered once price moves 50 pips beyond your sl - correct you reenter exactly where you were stopped out...

results pertaining to 2006...and as far as I know,he's been trading 200 standard lots for some time now, thus those number are...antiquated

true...but after the roller coaster I'll gladly take a less frequent and smaller albeit stronger move (ie that reaches the expected level) so that I can increase my sizing with a relative degree of safety...with all the if ands and stuff the term ...

I would hope that the USD will continue on its recent path of relatively "normal" behaviour against what we saw in the last 4 - 5 months where it appeared that not even an asteroid flattening washington would weaken it...

ehehe...now just for fun...considering a major trend change could bring even 2000 pips...scaling in every 50 pips...I'd end up trading at least 20 contracts (again).... you just have to have the nerve..and equity to hold on to every position you ...

sorry..but for depth, in my book, you should be looking at a higher timeframe, not a lower one... how can M1 M5 or similar give you depth? just trying to understand...always willing to learn something...
