Yep. Places like Cyprus provide easy and cheap offshore licenses for gambling-related small businesses such as online casinos, spread betting and forex bucketshops.

Agreed. For serious traders, the ONLY usable aspect of Metatrader is charting. Although it's lacking in that area too. - A true chartist is probably better off getting a dedicated charting software without the limitations of Metatrader (e.g. it ...

Says a bröker that is run by people who think they know what's best for you, who think they should protect you from your own non-professionalism, and who have supported every new regulatory policy with that agenda. Oanda should leave it to traders ...

Oanda Asia is a subsidiary of Oanda. A subsidiary is a separate entity controlled by its parent company. Because it's a separate entity, it is possible for one of them to be involved in legal proceedings, bankruptcy, tax delinquency, etc. while the ...

I'm sure most of its traders are more interested in the "bröker" aspect. It being a semi-bank is just a plus.

I don't see why any intelligent trader would not see that no serious bröker gives that kind of leverage. Even casinos put limits on how much you can bet on a particular game, and it's all part of a risk management strategy, i.e. they need to limit ...

My trades never get re-quoted. That's because I don't use Metacrapper and I don't trade with a fake bröker. It's not the fact that they're "Russian" per se, more like a regulation matter. Forex regulation in Russia tends to be a joke, and many take ...

Yeah that sucks. :/ Probably something related to their regulation. I'm not European, but come on Dukascopy, why $5k for European folks? What are your regulators trying to achieve with this?Dukascopy

How many slippage occurrences have you measured in this experiment? What you're experiencing is quite strange. Slippage, when it happens, has only a 50% chance to not occur in your favor.
