dan89 replied Sep 22, 2012Hi, well I had already decided on Friday when this bar closed and resulted in a DCC that I would take the long trade using this entry method. In terms of the verifications, I only see 2 that worth pointing out. The Hourly signature (no H1 bar ...

dan89 replied Sep 22, 2012Well .. im not trying to trade every day, and i dont force myself to take trades simply because I havnt had one for a few days/weeks. Im actually quite patient and will wait for what I think is a good setup to occur. I take these setups because I ...

dan89 replied Sep 21, 2012Hi Mike, Whats your opinion on this Pin Bar at a level of s/r ? Looks like a decent pinbar that jumps off the chart. image

dan89 replied Sep 21, 2012I assume your talking about this trade: url So why was this a touch trade .. what about waiting for a DCC. Yes H1 showed a signature (no hourly bar closing below the level). Its easy to say, we should of used a CC when a touch trade fails and vice ...

dan89 replied Sep 21, 2012... I'll have to pay for the private forum as I seem to be missing something here. That pinbar is tiny and barely noticeable, the nose barely protrudes from the previous bars and its right in a box/traffic.

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012Sorry, what i meant by failed signatures is where price retests a HCR/LCS level and on the lower TF (1h/4h) price closes below (HCR) above (LCS). resulting in a loss. Sorry for the confusion. Cheers Dan

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012Thats what I mean when I say its subjective ..to me that pinbar doesnt look good at all. Its tiny compared to the bullish move upwards, and the nose barely protrudes away from current price, It doesnt jump off the chart. Cheers Dan

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012I dont really like PA setups because they are subjective to a certain degree.... which pinbar to take which to leave etc etc. Im trying to decide which entry method to use and which one is more accurate. What is your advice. Traditional touch trades ...

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012Hi Jarroo. Well, yeah I've been going through these frustrations for around 3 years now trying to trade J16, and more recently your method ... would of expected some degree of success by now but I've gone absolutely nowhere in that time.

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012Hi Jarroo, thanks for the charts. Yep these charts make sense to me, and I fully understand the DCC and taking trades in the opposite direction. I was observing price on on EA when the daily closed back below the HCR and was thinking about a short ...

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012Hi mate, My entry was at the HCR as Jarroo teaches. I did not take a full risk loss, but it was a quick loss/failed trade - H1 signitures failing at the Daily HCR. As far as Im aware signitures are not an entry method (Close confirmations are) they ...

dan89 replied Sep 20, 2012Hi WR, What was convincing was that price had broken and closed above a very valid Daily HCR on the Daily Timeframe. Once that had happened I was looking for a long position at retrace to that daily level. Both H1/h4 chart had multiple failed ...
