Thanks Tick, I actually used to have the 18/28 on my charts but removed them when it seemed the majority went with just using the 5/12 cross. I have added them back to my charts. Are you using the 30 min or 1 hour charts?

If you are running windows XP on both machines you can use windows remote desktop to monitor your home PC for free instead of paying for Radmin. It's what I do.

Yeah I trade the 30 as I didn't want to miss the begining of a new trend but your right about getting whipped. It's happening to me right now in the USD/JPY. I should I switch over to the one hour.

The way I trade the sidus is when I first see the 5 cross the 12 I take note and then I enter if the 12 crosses through the 28 as in the second candle on my chart. That's the way I understood the method but maybe I'm wrong?

Hmm maybe I have been slow to enter on all of my trades. I thought the 12 had to pass the 28 for a valid entry. I have missed a lot of pips no doubt by entering later.

Excellent reading in this thread. Margin and leverage is something I still struggle with for some reason. My brain for whatever reason just goes haywire .

If you use MT4 just set up an email alert so that you don't have to babysit. My system emails me whenever the 12EMA has crossed the 28EMA. Once I get the email I then open up the charts and decide whether or not to trade.
