how bout that, pullback hits the 3980 line, get close above ma and 50 cci, and runs to target, once again i forget the most important step---get in the trade (method is new to me so no harm in only practicing)

DIV---do you have a rule that addresses once the avg. daily range is reached, like today when we are in an up trend, but we've already moved over 180pips

rc--i dont think we can look at that one as a trigger, since there wasnt a pullback from the previous "non-used" triggers

although you had a winner, i believe it went against Div's rules, "if the trigger is not taken out on next bar you can get 1 more shot as long as cci is still past 50 and bar is still above/below ma and the bar is not more than 2 pips from ma"--here ...

div will take counter-trend trades if they meet his rules, right now i am just focusing on trading with the trend, but reading thru the thread you can learn when he takes counter trades(1-2-3 and divergence)

tedge, it does look early since cci wasnt with you, yet. remember div. doesnt trade after 11am est, probably a good rule to follow when trading with real money. entry a few bars later followed the rules

chewz, try to look at the bigger picture, zoom out on your charts and see where support became resistance and vice versa, and use that as the line you want broken, then wait for a pullback to confirm that line, then enter after trigger bar is ...

2 nice trades justin, i was leary since morning was pretty choppy right around my up/down trend definer. 2nd trade was almost an instant win, ran 20pips in no time
