moneybags replied Jun 14, 2007I first started looking at Forex and studying it, about 2 years ago. Then started trading live about 1.5 year ago, and really started trading consistently and making it a priority about 1 year ago. Now I've finally made my first million.

moneybags replied May 27, 2007On my platform the bar looks kinda like a neutral bar but it still looks tempting to short. It's at a swing high off a descending trendline going way back to Feb. 2006 more or less. (I'm actually already short on this pair so I'm hoping it drops

moneybags replied Apr 26, 2007Right on man. That was a good setup. There was a very similar looking pin only inverted in the EURAUD. That one went for 100 pips. All the best, Tom

moneybags replied Apr 26, 2007Well, this could definitely be a sign that the uptrend is over. But I see a strong support level between 0.7380-0.7360 so I would wait until price breaks down through this support if you're thinking short. It'll be interesting to see what this pair ...

moneybags replied Apr 25, 2007I strongly agree with Mike. Pin bars are a great tool. When choosing the best ones on the 4H timeframe and even higher (Daily, Weekly) they can be very profitable. The best place to get exposure and learn more about pin bars is in the James16 ...

moneybags replied Apr 25, 2007I've been looking at this one too. It looks pretty good. It's at a swing high and you can even draw a trendline of the recent highs as resistance. But you could also draw an ascending trendline of the last 11 bars as support...

moneybags replied Apr 23, 2007Hi Nate, I'll jump in here and try to answer the questions. (Mike can add his thoughts too) The way the I4B is played is that you would go Short or Long depeding on how it's broken by price. So if price went below the I4B's low you would go Short ...

moneybags replied Apr 22, 2007I think Pips are one way to measure how one is doing. But the only way you can say trader A is better than trader B purely based on pips is if they are using the same trading system. The other thing is you can't not include lots/trading volume in ...

moneybags replied Apr 13, 2007wow.... that's pretty crazy. That is one hell of a spread. I've heard from many people that ODL Currenex is pretty good. Maybe this was just a freak thing during the big news release. That sucks that they can't do anything. But I guess the spreads ...

moneybags replied Apr 13, 2007hmm. Interesting. Not that I want to call him a liar, but that figure is a little hard to believe. Not to mention the NFA fine for false statements from IBFX doesn't help convince me. And to take it one step further and say that the reason for their ...

moneybags replied Apr 12, 2007That's exactly how I feel. I wish I had saved the money and years I spent being "educated" and had put both into trading. But hindsight is 20/20. Fly swatter? that's a good idea. Mine is just sitting there in my bookcase.

Graduates vs non-grads in trading
-
moneybags replied Apr 12, 2007I'll have to agree too. Degrees don't mean anything in the real world of trading. First off because book smarts alone can't make you successful in this business and second of all, not everyone who gets a degree is deserving. Especially the way ...

moneybags replied Apr 12, 2007Those are some nice trades Seeking. I think the point you made about going with the trend is an important one. I have found that it's easier to hold trades and let your profits run when the trade is with the trend. When you're trading against the ...
