I think you are hoping and dreaming rather than using good logic. The facts are that the USD is getting stronger, and the GBP just can't keep up... 1.61 looks very likely in the near term my opinion.

The Aussie is heading into the lower 70's without a single doubt. Australia needs it there as soon as possible, the RBA's stated policy is to get it lower, and that's the very obvious trend the last 12 months.
