how do you calculate a "suitable" range bar size for your market and time-frame?

does anyone hedge significant positions for the weekend, so as to offset Monday morning gap risk of course you would also forgo any favourable gaps if you hadnt of hedged .........but i'm more interested in off-setting weekend risk, than the profits ...

the only accounts i've seen that have this type of return, use small lot size (equates to lunch money) or, use demo (equates to fantasy) or, take too much risk (equates to high risk of/inevitable ruin) i'm yet to see a "high return" account ...
