What do you need the runners for? lol This method works fine with a fixed TP of 5 pips - far less work, especially if you open the trades with a script that automatically sets the TP.

usdjpy reached 100 pip target at 108.00 and went another 50 pips on the last 1/3. Now retracing. When do you close the last trade? Did you trade all three inside bars, even if they are correlated, like usdjpy and eurjpy?

Any luck with your brain picking session? I also found the daily retrace in the NY pm session useful, particularly Friday's (our Saturday morning). Last week's was particularly good with big retracement candles at 1 pm NY time.

May I suggest you use a 240 sma OPEN instead. This is equivalent to a 2 sma OPEN on the Monthly. This monthly direction only changes a couple of times a year! Please try it on a monthly chart. This is used successfully in another forum.
