imo, the NQ should be measured in points, not ticks. 10 to 20 point moves (40 to 80 tick moves) are commonplace - even when the YM and ES go into a less volatile, more sleepy sideways environment. Also, old-fashioned trend lines and simple patterns ...

Part of the problem we are dealing with here as that the futures sold off after the cash close, and the cash and futures prices are out of line from their usual premium/discount relationship. That is why cash has moved a lot and futures are stuck.
