Vantage replied Apr 13, 2015Had a losing gbpaud buy last week at the base that formed around 1.9350. Currently in gbpaud at 1.9123 and euraud 1.3816 and as I write prices around 1.9352 and 1.3970. Stops are at BE but we are not out yet so anything can happen. Will post charts ...

Vantage replied Mar 27, 2015Our 2 attempts to catch swing trades last week ended at BE. But url worked well.

Vantage replied Mar 20, 2015Some of the deep retrace trades will work, some won't, as Clive mentioned the move up had nice HH HL's to show a short term move up. I might take such a trade as a 2b move if I was convinced of it reverting to trend (higher TF analysis). Other than ...

Vantage replied Mar 18, 2015Price came to the Jan 15 lows, a possible resistance level if the downtrend is to continue. Negative divergence on 4hr. 5 min marginal lower highs. Sold euraud 1.3948 and stop is already at BE which is quick for us on these longer trades. We'll see ...

Vantage replied Mar 18, 2015Henry I reckon you were unlucky there, one of those things. Based on your original screenshot eur had 4 of 8 weak. With euraud 1st and gbpaud 4th suggesting both eur weakness and aud strength perhaps euraud would have been the better pair to pick ...

Vantage replied Mar 18, 2015Hi Henry This is a different chart but same point. Earlier this morning a series of higher lows, higher highs. There is a dble btm at 1.9374 see left arrow up. This fails and gives a lower high, left arrow down. So your HH, HL i.e. abc cycle is ...

Vantage replied Mar 17, 2015Hi Henry Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Was it really an ABC with higher lows, from what I can see when price went below about 1.3583 that cycle was broken. Not to say it wouldn't go up but I'd wait for an attempt to go lower to fail. That would ...

Vantage replied Mar 17, 2015Nice bapakjason, I got the next leg down at 54. At the time it was 4th on TT, GBP had 4 of 8 and gbpnzd was also moving down nicely. Don't know why but love it when ga and gn moving the same.

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015Also a look at D chart shows theres lots of body candle closes in this area for gbpaud with 1 big wick down. That can obviously be a problem but there have been no strong pushes up. Can be completely wrong but still expecting some more downside.

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015Yea 200 pips down from Asian move. London session though did very little which does of course mean that US session might well indulge in a little catch up.

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015Yep got some pips after revert back to trend. Was happy to exit as gbp not that weak across the board and of course we have a sell at +250 or so still hanging around. If US continues much lower then exit will look crappy but hopefully there'll be ...

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015I have revised my rules from some prompting by Clive a while back. Basic rule now if I see across the board S/W I'm interested. That seems to trump everything, S/W then focus on top 4 of TT.

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015Oh what I forgot to add was IF its going to be a bigger trade then you'd be expecting over whelming strength/weakness across the board. We've all seen it where you have TT top 4 say gbp or 6 or more gbp pairs featuring in top 8. When aud/jpy etc ...

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015London open for 28 mins as per your post. US has already moved their daylight savings time and London will move 1hr at the end of the month. They move about 2 weeks apart from each other. Asia doesn't have daylight savings, Aussie does I think but ...

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015Hi Clive Again our fave pairs will have adr's in 150-200 pip range should be enough to get bigger moves. Would I have gotten your swissy sell, more than likely not. I don't even have the chart set up and never look at them as it so rarely features. ...

Vantage replied Mar 12, 2015Hi Clive You still have to balance: - the quicker turn on fsma that might give false starts before reverting to trend, you are quite nimble in and out perhaps quicker than most (certainly me) the BC move in your last gbpaud chart a good example of ...
