E/J is an intriguing market, as many think it is a barometer for economic stability and an a reflection of equity prices. If you are trading this beast well, you are a skilled trader. It broke many managers back last year with the economic ...

You are dripping with good advice tonight. "Hope" is a sign to exit. And, indeed, one can be right and broke, particularly in the JPY pairs. And, regarding the analysis above.....I would doubt a bull trap here in USDJPY...if one is not an inside bar ...

90.75 on mine........today's low was....er.....90.72. Retest tonight perhaps for clarity. All we have so far is a pause, save for the nimble scalpers. One can only be bearish USDCHF until the PA slaps us in the face.....uh oh....if it's really that ...

LOL - I do that all the time! Seriously, though, I was having a bit of fun but, henestly, from a technical standpoint, that was the trade to my eye..... and it remains so above 1.4450. On another technical note, it is time for the happy exercise in ...

I would add that holding a position is a constant process of evaluation and re-evaluation. For example, I am currently long EURUSD, but I am not wedded to the position yet. Next week will "show us they way" in terms of whether to hold or to ...

Looking at the interrelated markets CHF, EUR, CAD, AUD may be a wise move here. It is always wise to try to make a case opposite one's conclusion. Could one say that perhaps the EUR is telling us something about the legs (or lack thereof) of the AUD ...

Well phrased. I disagree with the conclusion, but I respect the analysis. One does have to note the change in relationship between EUR and AUD versus USD. I'm not sure it has reversed, however.

Wait for what? Until the move is over so we can view it on the chart? "Probably is not a plan" ?? This is not an endeaver of certainty, but an educated assessment and plan with a safety net in case one is wrong.....aka...a probability.

Not to be overlooked, given the implications on supply and demand in relation to the direction of the market. At this time of year, especially, the volume changes often amplify the statements about sentiment and direction.

Good to generate some ideas. I'm looking at the monthly USDCHF and the inability to rise above last year's levels at this time (1.0370). It makes for a very low risk entry. Corresponsingly, EURUSD has fallen further to a second level of support, but ...
