Deano9999 commented Jul 10, 2013Agree in the long run but not before tremendous instability in the EUR and all sorts of policy changes to prevent other exits (see Portugal).

Deano9999 commented Jul 10, 2013Ok LG, if all we disagree about is style over substance then I'm good with that. I think we've done it to death - take care and trade well

AUD/USD - Double Bottom Attempt
-
Deano9999 commented Jul 10, 2013At what point does the music stop for Greece? The article implies another bailout but with a haircut for the german creditors? Not a good look in an election year so whats the alternative - Grexit? That would really sink the Euro.

Deano9999 commented Jul 9, 2013LG, well argued and I agree with many points. Yes I was one of the annoyees and vented against the poor level of dialogue. I'm probably one of the older traders on here so am used to a more conventional form of "polite" interaction than full on, in ...
AUD/USD - Double Bottom Attempt

Deano9999 commented Jul 9, 2013I just can't believe poorly people behave on these forums! How a little disagreement about USD direction can turn into a personal slanging match. If you're posting so ferociously on here and trying to outdo each other imho its unlikely you're ...
AUD/USD - Double Bottom Attempt
-
Deano9999 commented Jul 7, 2013Sell the EUR and JPY against the USD. The AUD/NZD long is a very short term trade, as the longer term dynamics between these currencies is strongly bearish. The pair is working on a monthly close below the major 61.8 fib at 1.1721, and a close below ...

Deano9999 commented Jul 4, 2013Yes buying. Purely a snapback against the main trend but high probability before any downtrend resumption. Such violent swings almost always retrace to some degree, so a good R:R of 5:1 target 1.52 with a tight stop below 1.5080.

Deano9999 commented Jul 4, 2013Hey Kong, 1.5080 is a key support/resistance point and its holding after the BOE statement (so far). My system seldom gets such a good snapback trade as this, so its long with a stop below the 4hr low of 1.5070 target 1.5200.

Deano9999 commented Jul 4, 2013My expectations are a big yawn tonight. Don't expect any surprises from the ECB, but don't trade at all if you're smart until the dust settles, which won't be until Monday with tomorrow's NFP in the US. With no US session today the volatility will ...
ECB, Not Portugal, Is Main Threat to Euro
-
Deano9999 commented Jul 4, 2013The AUD's fall has been eratically tracking the 20ema on the daily chart, which is currently at 0.9320, so that looks like the maximum retrace. But the fundamentals won't let it go that far, and too many long positions in the COT so yes around 0.92 ...

Deano9999 commented Jul 3, 2013Who'd want to be a politician in Egypt? He was democratically elected only a year ago and gets chucked out. Not much you can fix in a year with 80 million Egyptians to keep happy. Sadly things are only going to get a lot worse in MENA before they ...
Mursi ouster has roots in unemployment in Egypt

Deano9999 commented Jul 2, 2013More of the usual garbage. Just too much noise coming from the Zone: 1) Croatia joins the EU yesterday, with unemployment at 20% and too much debt - they'll fit right in as the latest candidate for a bailout without a qualifying period! 2) Greece ...

Deano9999 commented Jul 2, 2013In other words, don't believe the numbers. Looks a lot like political manipulation to save the govt's skin.

Deano9999 commented Jul 1, 2013Its summer so lots of part time and casual jobs to support tourism and services. Unfortunately this seasonal improvement from April won't last, so its continues to pressure the Euro going forward although a short squeeze to 1.31 is now likely.

Deano9999 commented Jun 24, 2013How misleading. The Fed has NOT tightened policy, its just the markets getting ahead of themselves...again. Besides what do you expect when a junkie is withdrawing from irs addiction - things get messy.
