ikdenk replied Jan 19, 2018I thought it had been corrected. I will test it in the weekend, maybe we can learn something. Been through all the pages of the original thread that I missed since last year. Isn't there a third version that might be workable on indices?

ikdenk replied Jan 19, 2018Around page 30 of the original thread someone called blueseahorse already coded an EA and even shared the code. Why not use that EA and MAYBE improve on it, although I am sceptical that 'improvements' are really necessary. The entry conditions are ...

ikdenk replied Jan 15, 2018Thanks for your response, much appreciated. Have been using Marketwatch to show the spread, but some indices on my broker seem to have a somewhat fixed spread. In the mean time I have also found JPN225 and FRA40 that you also use. Now buzy ...

ikdenk replied Jan 15, 2018I will have to get used to the weird pip values. Also many MT4 indicators don't seem to work properly, for example my spread indicator. Which one do you use, please?

ikdenk replied Jan 15, 2018lem, do you have any experience with AUS200 and HK50, they would presumably be more relevant to us here down under? I presume that indices only move when the respective stockmarkets are open. Maybe US30 and US500 in the US afternoon (our morning)?

ikdenk replied Jan 11, 2018Took off another quarter (half of half that was left) at 20 on uj and chfjpy (fj). fj hit TS at the NY close/open. uj still alive. gu and eu both hit TS at the NY close/open due to spread widening - better to close them just before.

ikdenk replied Jan 11, 20184 trades open at the moment: gu, eu, uj and fj. Overnight (for me) weakness in the usd. Taken half off at + 10, letting rest run with trail of 10. (wanted to add a picture but not one is EXACTLY according to the rules - better not to confuse new ...

ikdenk replied Jan 26, 2017I do the same and have been for the last two months. There is always volatility at the HOLO, particularly when the last candle is large. It only needs to revert 5 pips + spread. Interestingly the larger the spread (eg with gbpnzd) the greater the ...

ikdenk replied Jan 13, 2017Thanks for posting this. Pareto at work again: 80% of pips from 20% of pairs. (or 91% from 3 pairs only: uj, ej and uc - maybe a message in there?)
