You can toggle opened charts in metatrader by holding down CTRL & pressing Tab Key or you can get a script to toggle charts in sequence every so many seconds.

Find a good currency strength meter and plot Weekly & Daily strength. When both are in sync and showing good separation, ( strongest vs weakest), use that as your trend direction. There are many out there, here is one that I am testing atm. url
