Save your current chart as a template before you change to another template. No other work-around, this is your best option.

Changing templates deletes trendlines

Try deleting all objects with this script and then draw your trendlines before the chart refreshes. You can also manually refresh the chart by changing timeframes and all your indicator objects will reappear with your new trendlines. file
