I guess the difference is different feeds from different brokers. My set up is the 3 and 8 EMA/close/0 shift. Glad you like this system, it's fun and profitable.

GBPUSD — Trailing stop took me out with 56 pips. Out of EU with 20 pips.

Hi Darryl and welcome. I don't know where the 5 and 20 EMAs came from. I am only using the 3 and 8s. I have a brother in Spring.

No, but I am trying to be more aware of it. It seems to always catch me by surprise. First Friday of the month for NFP I am mindful of, but that's about it. I do check the US $ index to see direction though.

I couldn't get onto FF for over an hour due to volume and news....frustrating, I am short EU and GU and down around 40 pips.

WOW! I have had success with this system, but even I am surprised with these results....very pleasantly surprised.

EURUSD — I would wait for either a break below the congestion/support line or a break above the 8 EMA before an entry.

No hard and fast rules, just use your good traders' judgment. I have banked about 100 pips since open on Sunday countertrading too. Keep doing what you are doing..

Great job, dimlat. You are up using the 3,8 EMAs? Notice how well this works with the H1 4C BO too.. I just banked another 40 pips on the BO. Thanks for the kind words. Yes, Merkel helped us today...for sure.
