Almost everytime, such big moves have a reasonable pullback, so I'll wait for the 1st candle into the opposite direction or a retracement into the same candle and place a pending order below/above. Else...wait next opportunity.

You are backtesting? I saw that in backtest, yes. But the stop is moved correctly. Also I saw that last night when using BB with Caterpillar. Atm I'm using BB on 14 pairs on IBFX AU, and got not a single error.
