That's exactly what you're looking for. Those fast moves. I think tony will agree with me here that length and range has no set value. You're really looking for a shape. Like a sideways L either pointing up or down.

I think Tony said it best 2-3 posts ago. This system is not very mechanical. It's one of those things you get a 'feel' for. So, in light of that, look for a trading simulator and start training your 6th sense.

I coded an EA and an indicator for this system a while back. Neither were incredibly successful. The setup is fairly simple: Look for a period of tight consolidation followed by a breakout candle. The hard part is waiting for it to happen =D

That still didn't answer my question lol. Let's use your 1/2% gain/trade example. How many consecutive losses can you sustain? It's been my experience that any system which increases the lot size after a losing trade eventually hits the "death trade"
