Nice spike on GU and EU...but no love for the AU, it's already 50pips off it's highs. Doesn't look like it's going to get back above .9000 anytime soon if even a bad NFP doesn't get it up there!

Good call...that's what I'm doing. FOMC Wed, UK and ECB rate today, NFP tomorrow...lots of stuff can happen with that(whipsawing). And I don't have any clear signals to trade today. Have a good one guys and gals!

I'm just watching at this point. Draghi sounds dovish, but my charts look bullish at the moment(from oversold conditions, support at 3200 level, support at 1hr 200ma, 15min and 1hr Pinbar). Jaygee may have it right with his long trade. I just don't ...

wow, Draghi sounds more dovish than normal. I hear a lot of "weak, weaker, subdued" words. And the "interest rates will remain at present or lower levels for an extended period of time" could push the euro lower. I was actually leaning towards Euro ...

Yep, lots of "if's" in this business. Have to be flexible enough to trade both ways depending on different scenerios/setups.

The fall of GU from 1.5400 to 5150 you speak of happened the first 3 days of this week, BEFORE FOMC statement. After the Fed did nothing, the GU rallied. Check your charts...it's all there.

Same could be said about the US and "tapering". Neither UK, nor US give a timeline...but the perception is there for both. In all my years of trading, while I'm not surprised...I am still amazed that The Fed did nothing, said nothing and the USD got ...

Went up 40pips on news release. But the daily range has been so large lately the candles look small.

For me, it's too late. I would need a pullback to get in short. I try to follow the "buy the dip and sell the rally" rule. Sometimes I miss out on continuation trades...but it also saves me from reversals as well. Just something each trader has to ...

AU doesn't look good for longs anymore...going to stand aside for now with a slight downward bias unless it gets above .9000 again. GU is mixed imho...just watching. EU is interesting...have a slight upward bias on this pair, but not sure what ...

Reverse as in what? How low are you looking for it to go? It may pull back some...but I doubt it reverses to the lows of the day. From my charts, a pull back to 1.3300ish is most likely. We have some Great looking 1hr bullish engulfing candles on ...

And there you go...AU is above 9000 again. Now to see if it closes the day above .9000. If so, then the selloff below was a fakeout and we are going back up to .9300 are higher. Buy the dips if we get a good daily candle close! On a side note, it ...

If we get bullish closes on the daily candles for GU, EU, AU...you're pretty safe to start buying the dips again. Looks like the USD strength that started out this week is over. ECB and NFP could be wild cards though...so keep your stops in check. ...

Watch AU today...if the daily candle closes above .9000(above 9030-40 would be best)...then we can see a nice run up to 9300 or higher.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong...nothing goes straight or down forever. We will have corrections, just like on Wednesday. Just overall, for the rest of the summer we'll see usd weakness or range bound price action.

Charts are still looking a little sloppy...no follow through on anything. EU is pretty much back up into it's 1hr upchannel after yesterday's break below. I still believe Bernanke killed the USD rally and we'll just be in a 200-300pip range on most ...
