I am eyeing the same 3830-3840 levels as Sono for a test but if we move up away and then drop back down for another test into this level leading into or just after LO that would be great too. Also a SO with confirmation and trigger would also be OK.

Oh and I also just noticed that on my 4hr chart, the second highest 4hr bar for both volume and spread (Feb 3rd) this year has it's high at... 3785. Lot's of volume at this level many times this year alone so a low volume test type bar into it seems ...

There are actually some stock traders who look specifically for these type of bars within an established trend and take entries off them.

The one thing I have seen with the BV email alert is that for low volume bars it only alerts if it prints yellow but many times we have a neutral blue bar that is the lowest volume or low volume for a ND, NS or test so unless it prints as yellow ...

The other thing that I might see on there is that after the high vol up bar the next bar was not only down but it first made a higher high... hidden test of sorts I think they may call this

I guess that saying that if all that volume was buying then the next bar shouldn't be down... I don't watch 1hr charts very much but man oh man what a beautiful low volume test of that highest volume trigger bar's close... Gorgeous!

Seems so... Looking at this latest leg up on EU starting with the low on 2/14/2011 we could even see as deep a retrace as 3730 as keep this upmove well intact.
