Arfer Daily replied May 25, 2010Ok, I'll try it out. I'm used to it to be honest as it's default on my Metatrader.

Arfer Daily replied May 24, 2010Yes, it's still above that long term weekly trendline but I'm not really long jpy so much as short sgd. BTW, that gbpaud chart looks real pretty, just a shame I don't have that cross and I'm not inclined to mess about with long gbpusd and short ...

Arfer Daily replied May 24, 2010I just took a short on sgdjpy, jpy looking strongish, sgd looking weakish. I particularly like sgdjpy on the 4 hour chart, nice bearish candle. Only a 100 pip stop so no big deal for a possible nice return.

Arfer Daily replied May 24, 2010Chris, I had a really good day today, went out this afternoon for a game of tennis and came back and my trade was 200 pips further up! Am I getting the hang of this?

Arfer Daily replied May 23, 2010Some really good points which I agree with but one thing I'd point out is that it isn't always 'zero sum' in the way people think. Don't forget that a lot of forex brokers won't pass the trades of retail traders on to the market but just absorb the ...

Arfer Daily replied May 22, 2010Chris, are you still long usdjpy? Friday shows it bouncing from that long down trendline but it's a way away from where you bought first?

Arfer Daily replied May 22, 2010Further to my post the other day I thought of this. A lot of really good traders (think of two highly regarded traders from this forum) say that you have to detach yourself from the money and just think of it as numbers. The implication is that you ...

Arfer Daily replied May 22, 2010Well I hope that's a guaranteed stop because if it gaps down a long way you're trade will be closed at the opening price and not your stop price.

Arfer Daily replied May 22, 2010Here's that eurnzd at the end of the day. That level acted as quite strong support on the way down so it looks good that this could be about to continue back down but we'll have to wait and see.

Arfer Daily replied May 21, 2010So has anybody got an opinion on what eurusd is doing at the moment? I'm thinking it may be about to head back down but todays candle is not exactly a signal. Maybe on Monday things will be clearer?
