Hey thanks for the info roughtrader. First time I hear about this. The idea is really cool. I hope the platform will turn out to be good (I haven't tested it yet but I'll test on monday). If it's good then this is really something to consider. ...

First of all I have to say I never heard of IC Markets so I can't comment about that. Let's start with something that I think you should consider when looking for a bröker (I rarely see new people consider this nor did I when I first started out): ...
Anyone have info on International Capital Markets? (IC Markets)
- Marv replied Mar 21, 2012
No. But you can always click on the "unlock this tab" button (the square and arrow thingy) for all of your tabs (chart, Position Summary, Orders, etc) and then organize them anyway you want. See the attached screenshot for an example.

They'd rig the elections before they let that guy win. I hope I'm wrong.

Typical bucketshop behavior. Now notice how some inexperienced morons (typically with crappy English and zero vouches) will come running to the bröker's defense. Maybe YOU should speak for yourself instead of using the "my friend" bullshit. ...

Well said Jack.
This is not the first time I have to deal with someone who somehow takes it upon himself to defend his beloved bröker (with that kind of ego and tone if not worse) against any kind of informed critique. The last one was a ...Best Broker for 2012?

Actually with a limit order, you're asking to get filled at your requested price or a BETTER price. (unless you're trading with some dealing desk) Do NOT use slippage control with a limit order, because slippage with this type of order is only ...

Exactly. The rebates program helps reduce commission too (by almost half). It's a shame many people miss it.

His estimates are wrong (see my response to him for the average spread+commission you should be paying). You can scalp here. But as roughtrader said, market orders will cause some slippage (which is a liquidity thing, not the bröker's fault) and the ...

The passion with which you advertise/defend this bröker raises doubts, and you accuse the other guy of spamming? What do they say about those who live in a glass house?

It's not all about microlots and tight spreads you know. Some of us don't like to have our 5-6 figure funds at the mercy of some MT4 bröker that was formed yesterday in some barely known country. (I know what bröker you're talking about)

You keep saying that, but it's not as big a deal as I think that you think it is. The "revolutionary first exchange in the world" thing is mostly hype as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice and well executed concept (thanks to ...

Sure. As you may already know, LMAX is established by the Betfair company (world's largest online betting company) and uses its technology. Betfair has the biggest stake in LMAX. Goldman Sachs also has a 12.5% stake in it (not anymore). LMAX however ...

A little tip from someone who (with all due respect) probably knows how things really work in this business more than you do: Ignore the so called "forex bröker awards" wherever you see 'em.
