What I have learned is that USDCAD has a life of its own appart of how majors are affected by USD. I wouldn't be worried about this.

I concur with everyone, Oanda platform is very stable here also, both demo and live, I'm on Windows 2003 Server, I am pretty sure that Windows 98 is the trouble maker.
