It's too early, but I can see the US is following the same inflation path as the UK based on the bond market and in general thats the deal, but we have an energy premium from nutty zero policy. The US tends to export some inflation, but I doubt this ...
America won't be the only loser
Government overspending is the main reason for inflation. When they borrow the money, it is printed, like all loans. Inflation finds a problem to show up in. A deficit has to be printed even if its not directly printed to buy the bond.
