I'm new to ninjatrader myself, and I don't have it in front of me... but with that said, when you are making your changes to the fib levels you can right click in that window and select "manage templates" (I think) from which you can save your ...

Some very good points. Am I overtrading? Yes and no. 'No' in so far as I'm making 1-2 trades per day on a currency pair, which is about where I'd like to be. But 'yes' in that I'm monitoring 3 pairs. Why am I monitoring 3 pairs? The nature of my job ...

On that example I can't really comment - I didn't trade it because with my current level of knowledge I don't see much there. But then I am perhaps too cautious. For example, I monitor 3 currency pairs, and in the last 2 days I've only entered 8 ...

From my limited understanding: While certain harmonic numbers traditionally carry more weight than others (for example, the primary ratios of 0.618 and 1.618), and there is a cumulative effect of 'confluence', ultimately all the PRZ represents is an ...

Excellent post. Starry - have you thought about reading about the background to this style of trading, to help narrow your focus? I found it to be of enormous help. You can read Scott Carney's first book for free by downloading it from his website. ...

Mr. Pip - your 233T chart looks more like my 100T chart... may I ask which source you use? I guess there are some significant differences between brokers!

I was looking for a Crab to form... I haven't taken the long because only the BC projection was tested. If it had made the XA or 1.618AB = CD then I would have been happier. Let's see where it goes

Mr. Pip will undoubtedly have his own specific rules for this (which haven't been covered yet in the thread). To give you some background until Mr. Pip covers it, here is an excerpt from Scott Carney's "Harmonic Trading Volume 1":

Interesting comments
From my perspective, when I found the thread there were already well over 100 pages to read. It was a daunting task. Initially I would read every post, but then I ended up skipping through pages just reading the responses of ...Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade

I had this problem, but managed to get it working. This was because I only created an account at MBT; I didn't bother to download any of MBT's trading platforms. The solution was to log back into MBT and download MBT Desktop. After doing that Ninja ...

Just around where you marked "swap supply zone" there is a gap and a tail close. This is a very good example of what Scott Carney talks about on Page 254 of the Harmonic Trader:

Great post - very useful for those of us trying to learn. I have a couple of questions: 1. What made you choose the low at circa 05:06:05 for your main swing rather than the previous low just visible on your chart at 04:36:37? Or indeed the low ...
