Hey hantec.. How are your AUDUSD longs coming along??? Lol!!! And the fact that you don't even use your very own MT4 for your charts speaks volumes.

SNB’s Danthine: Still prepared to intervene in FX market
- jw1981 replied Jan 22, 2015
K -wave or not, the writing was there on the wall for everyone to see. SNB has a bad reputation of fixing the currency and then breaking it. It was 1.5 back then, then 1.2 and trust me sooner or later they'll come back with a peg yet again. There is ...

Your argument would be valid if the broker merely hosted 1 page. Would you buy a house looking at it from the outside? Or when you buy a car, wouldn't you look beyond the looks of the car and check on mileage, horsepower and stuff? Shouldn't ...

Don't you think you're just looking for an excuse? I can get your point of view, if the broker absolutely did not mention this at all, but look to the T&C's and its all there in B&W. Further more, with ECN's for most part, brokers do also post ...

Everybody was enjoying the benefits of leverage until the SNB steamrolled onto us retail traders. Emotions aside, don't you think its fair that when we trade on leverage (borrowed money from the broker) we are responsible for that? We enjoyed the ...

Taking a 50% hit is better than being completely wiped out. In case you didn't learn from last thursday. Either the SNB had to bear the losses or the retail side. Guess we know which side took the hit now.

Members who have taken a hit should perhaps also update on how leveraged they were. As the dust starts to settle, its clear that leverage is probably the biggest underlying factor? I'm already thinking of getting mine down to 50 from 100. Thoughts ...

Reports suggest that the loss they took amounted to close to 50% of their 2014 profits. If one has to take it at face value, then pulling the plug on the peg seemed like a sensible decision rather than incur bigger losses. That being said, the SNB ...

The more I think about this, the more questions come to mind. Why would they deduct IB commissions? Considering IB's get paid a part of the commission, equity profits or losses shouldn't play a role. Would be good if the OP updates on this or tells ...
