cryten replied Nov 7, 2007I know of one succesful manual system that was used at CMS, the guy must have sold alot of ebooks because it was getting harder and harder to trade till it was not profitible with them so they switched to ECN and wow it works again!

cryten replied Nov 7, 2007Yup if you trade the longer timeframes you should not need any indicator to tell you the trend. On 5 min or 15 min a simple MA can save you switching between tf's.

cryten replied Nov 7, 2007Cross of EMA 1 and EMA 5 on daily can be good infact it's another trading system at babypips. But you don't need it, use a long term MA does the same thing and trade with the mini trends

cryten replied Nov 7, 2007To trade 5 min you need to know what your doing and perhaps approach this system a little differently. Try adding a 50 simple moving average and only take shorts if price is below and longs if price is above the ma.

cryten replied Nov 4, 2007I noticed if I miss a trade on the 15 min I may get a chance to get in on 30 min or 1 hour. I look at the charts split into days, sometimes on 1 hour I can hold onto it to the next day but anyway that's what I'm working on
