HanSolo replied Aug 23, 2012I see. If you would have been stopped out, would you have entered again on the higher HCRs like I did? Or do you think my entry was too late?

HanSolo replied Aug 23, 2012Thanks for sharing, Jim. As you can see on my chart I entered a bit higher on the break of the HCRs further to the left. What made you confident to enter on the lower HCRs? BTW, I'm just watching your basic video series in the PF. It's very helpful.

HanSolo replied Aug 23, 2012Hi deltaskelta, your analysis sounds solid to me. At least you have thought about what you are doing. Maybe the pros in here got something to add. Just one thing, if you're new to trading and/or this thread just make sure that you've got a fixed set ...

HanSolo replied Aug 23, 2012Hi delta, what exactly was your rationale to go long at this point? I can only see a DBLHC that one could trade as a continuation pattern. But this is very risky as price is trading right into a somewhat messy area which might act as resistance. ...

HanSolo replied Aug 23, 2012Hey jsvihla, did you play it? I've got more of a neutral bar on my chart this morning (see chart). Remember that a J16 setup is only valid after the close of the bar. LOL. I think he would have trusted only and only his own mind and been a great ...

HanSolo replied Aug 22, 2012I totally agree, that's a good strategy. By the way, I see you are a fan of Mr. Gauss. I haven't read anything about him yet but I sure will do. I strongly admire those polymaths of ancient times who were not only good scientists but great artist ...

Yes, that's a definition I agree to. By all means, your last point is probably the only one really worth caring about.

HanSolo replied Aug 22, 2012Ok sorry, I may be a bit assuming here. I should rather say I never saw price direction and big turning points totally contradictory to supply and demand (at least not on high volume pairs). E.g. I never saw a big market intervention in the middle ...

HanSolo replied Aug 22, 2012Hey CFG, I disagree. Yes, there are interventions by the big guys and there are reactions to news. But you will never see them in the middle of nowhere and they are never total surprises. They always happen at high probabiltiy points where demand ...

HanSolo replied Aug 22, 2012Hey Mike, do I get you right: You only keep the pairs/stocks/etc. open that show a potential setup? The rest remains closed? And what is TOS? Is it your charting software?

HanSolo replied Jan 21, 2012Hello fellow traders, here's another question. Actually two questions: 1. As I've learned with your help, a chart shows the ongoing supply and demand equation. So if there is supply and demand on the chart, there sure must be equilibrium somewhere. ...

HanSolo replied Jan 9, 2012Hi bez, I personally am hesitant to trade a supply level this near while we're into weekly demand. So I rather stay on the sideline. That said it might still work out and give us some pips to the downside.
