Perhaps the USDJPY bears are hibernating.

USDJPY is interesting. Hardly a zealous bump off of the long term TL; hardly an agressive statement either. When that pair sleeps a while, be prepared. Of course, some would say it has overslept already - USDJPY close 12/08 90.86; USDJPY current ...

I like that analysis actually......the picture is mixed. Technically, the failure at the trendline shoul be respected; for some reason, I don't respect it. Hmmmmm. A dogi like that needs confirmation; so far, we do not have it.

Anyone have a cup of coffee? Is it half full or half empty? Perhaps it is just full to the rim? Hmm....I wonder if the stove is still on to see if it will boil over.......Let me check the M/W's

That one is interesting....I may be alone, but I am still holding there. I am hypothesizing that the short term W/M patterns will be enough to stimulate a move up first, rather than back to 89 again. Heavy resistance makes for a lot of stops. Buckle ...

Indeed.....I must have overlooked that one! Honestly, though, it is relevant to the underlying economic tone, even if one is not trading it.

I agree, U/J does seem to be a well supported, justifiable R/R trade at the moment. Perhaps that one is in the 3rd wave....er checkered flag for you NASCAR boys! Once again though, we are smacking into the wall at one of those dastardly trend lines. ...

Yes, that chart forces one to declare an allegance to closes versus lows. No more waffling comfort zone on that one. The S/R traders are either one way or the other depending on their view there. Personally, I do not like the close under 1.03 for ...

Honestly, though - that "control" statement is encouraging. That is the secret to risk management. Good for you. I can't seem to get past my inflationary fears....we'll see what AUD and CAD can show us as their respective levels are tested, against ...

LOL - It's not total folly (good word!) if you eject at 1.02 based on the theory that the prior monthly lows (from that controlling candle) are being tested you have a chance, but I don't see any Strat-style momentum on your side yet. If you are to ...

Risky? Hold out your hand for Strat to slap it. Yes, it does have an ejector level, though. You reviewed that monthly chart, did you? You have a lot of faith in those support levels. ANother chart of relevance.

Chunnel may prove to be the story teller here. It's worth following that relationship, I think, to see if the boat really is turning around. Cable may give a tip off as well, as it moves about in the midst of last week's rejectionary PA. USDCHF has ...
