a lot of buying after the news, more or less equal to the selling before it. the move before the news might have been short covering. i'm going to close my shorts here'ish, see if they can drive it under 18203.

i got cained on this trade. sold some at a loss and held the rest. the build hasn't changed but i'm working off the daily chart and that requires some leeway. will add longs after non-farm.

Copper for everyone

non-farm in an hour and looking across the pairs and gold/silver/copper. i see mixed bag. cable and eu look like strong dollar but gold is looking bid as is copper. non-farm could be a bit mixed imo.

silver kissed the lower ma and dropped. i was expecting a little more and missed it. anyway made some profit. gold outperforming silver since. lots of long building here in gold and silver. non-farm will probably be poor for the dollar.
