Maybe this is crazy, but what if you reversed the losers instead of closing (half) of them? Any thoughts?

That would be great! Could you make the alert ring an alarm clock in another room and start the coffeemaker?

I think you'd have to trade this with a trailing stop or you'd lose as many pips as you'd gain (sort of like an MA). I did a search for a HAS with an alert and found one. I attached it here, but haven't tried it. Let us know if it works.

Kos, I would like some insight into your statement quoted above regarding the 14 universal pairs. Maybe I'm the only idiot here who doesn't understand it, but why are we setting up a hedge instead of pairs that move in generally the same direction? ...

This is my first post on this thread. First, kudos to Kos for this system and for sharing it so generously. I hope this will be what we aspiring "basket cases" have been looking for! I tried to get the H4 HAS on my H1 chart, but it crashes MT4. I ...

I just discovered this amazing thread today and I am trying to read through it. I've read about the first 50 pages and the last 10. It seems like Geoff has shared an incredible EA. I am trying to backtest it on a GMT = 0 broker (thinkforex). ...
Simple H1 GBPUSD EA

Of course you have to use reasonable SL's and profit targets, but if we aren't interested in finding better than random entries, why bother using this system. You can just enter trades randomly and then manage (which is not such an outlandish idea). ...

What I had in mind was something simple added to the indicator we're using. For example, on the MTF indicator, let's say you're using the H1 and H4 and the display said EURUSD>buy. It would now say EURUSD>buy>80/60. This would indicate that the ...

Looking at recent unsuccessful baskets, I realize that the trades were entered in the right direction, i.e., with the trend, but when the market was overbought in the case of buys and oversold in the case of sells. We need some way to determine ...

I know this is a very basic question but I don't know the answer. I put v2 in the experts folder, reopened MT4, and it's now showing in Experts. So far, so good. However, it's gray. I put it on a chart anyway and I'm getting a smile. This can't be ...
