You got it exactly right, Tom, the M15 cross occurs first. That is a more aggressive entry, as you said and one can certainly be entered on the M15 cross. But I like confirmation of direction on at least 2 timeframes. What I meant by looking for the ...

We've got to figure out why your ma lines are interrupted. Are you using "None" for color instead of "black"? If not, try it.

Thanks for the kind words, doc. Those vertical lines are lines I draw manually as a guide for evaluating the angle for myself.

Some very good ideas here, FP. I especially like the two trades suggestion. Keep in mind that I see this as a better cross over trend trading set up than a BO set up. I added the box lines to see if the two systems compliment each other and they do. ...

I like to pay attention the the dollar index, but have not paid attention to the Dow direction as it seems more erratic. I will start doing that...thanks for suggesting that.

I am using in a live account. Nothing has changed from post 1. I am finding that I am not in the market on any one trade as long as I might have been a year ago due to market conditions these days...that's the main difference I'm seeing.
